Guide - change your registration
ATTENTION! Read this!
We have created a FB group where buyers and sellers of starting places can meet. Please read our manual CAREFULLY before joining this Facebook group. Unfortunately fraudsters are very common in these types of Facebook groups.
If you have been prevented from participating for some reason, you can transfer your starting place to another person. Our provider of the entry service (EQ Timing) has a system for transfer of starting place that protects you as a buyer against fraudsters (of which there are unfortunately a lot). However, it requires that you as buyer and seller follow our manual for how a name change is done.
The basic principle is that the buyer never pays the seller until the entire name change is completed in EQ Timing.
For the seller (steps 1-4)

Click on "My page" and then "Registrations".

All races you are registered for that have EQ Timing's registration system are shown here. Click on "Hoka Torekov Båstad (year)". Then choose to activate code to sell space.

Copy the transfer code and send it to the person who buys or takes over your starting place.
For the buyer (step 5)

The buyer enters the registration system and clicks on "Transfer" (link). He then fills in the transfer code and pays the name change fee (200 SEK).
For the buyer and seller (step 6)

When the registration is complete and that buyer is on the start list, any agreed payment between the buyer and the seller takes place.
NOTE. If the buyer does not get paid according to what was agreed upon, the buyer emails [email protected] and we can remove the buyer from the start list again. Therefore, the seller must NEVER demand payment for the place before the transfer is completed.
Do you want to change the starting group?
The start groups at 10.00, 10.30, 11.00 and 11.30 are fully booked and we will not be able to take in more participants in these start groups. If you would like to run together with a friend, we can move you to the start group at 12.00. Then email [email protected] and we will help you with the change.
